Hi, I'm Jo — dog lover, show enthusiast, and the new owner of Dogs Lead Shop and More.

I've lived with dogs for over 50 years, so it's fair to say they're not just pets — they're my life! My journey with Irish Wolfhounds began in 2012 when I was lucky enough to own my first, Phantom. Sadly, we lost him to pneumonia at just 11 months old, but his brother Nimrod came into our lives from the following litter and then came Wolfhound Draken. Nimrod introduced me to the wonderful world of dog showing, and I've never looked back.

In 2015 I got my first Border Terrier, Bullet — my foundation dog and the start of my kennel, Arunmere. We've since bred four generations from Bullet, including his great-grandson Ruarie, who is making quite a name for himself in the show ring. Today I share my home in rural Wales with Bullet and four of his descendants — a very entertaining and happy house!

For over a decade I ran my own pet services and dog walking company under the name She's Got Paws, but when I relocated to the Welsh countryside, I knew it was time to evolve. I'd always dreamed of running an online shop — it just seemed out of reach until Shopify made it possible. I found Dogs Lead Shop and More on Flippa and it ticked every box: a niche, eco-friendly hemp product range, strong supplier relationships, great reviews, and four years of proven sales. It was the perfect shop to take on.

I'm passionate about keeping the established lines that customers already love, while carefully introducing new ideas that fit the ethos of the brand. We're just getting started — watch this space! 🐾
